About Sandy and Judy Hines

Brookfield IRP approved award winning realtors Sandy and Judy Hines of Royal Lepage are a husband and wife team. Both are full time, hard working, experienced Realtors. They work together on all buyers and sellers so when you hire them you literally get two for the price of one. They are ranked in the top 5% in Royal LePage and have obtained national recognition on many occasions including the very coveted Lifetime Achievement Award. They have extensive knowledge of the Brookfield IRP relocation program and the RCMP Relocation Directive and have helped literally hundreds of members buy and sell homes in the Halifax(HRM) metro area. Their Seller Program works so well it is a very unusual case that one of their listings does not sell. 

Sandy has been in real estate his entire working life. He started real estate right out of university after completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree. In his more than 20 years in real estate he has always been a salesperson but he has also had duties as a manager, broker and a trainer. He has been a sales award winner every year since he began his career showing his dedication and success in the business.

Judy joined Sandy in real estate in 2005. She was always involved in Sandy's business so her real estate knowledge was extensive before she entered the business. Judy has also been a successful business person for years. She started Judy's Early Learning Preschool and owned and operated it until 2020. Judy brings the experience of dealing with people, her knowledge of childcare and the education system in Halifax and her understanding of what children need when moving to a new place to the partnership. Many buyers have commented that it was nice to have both a women's and man's perspective during their house hunting trip.

On the personal side Sandy and Judy are originally from Cape Breton Island. They have one daughter. They have always been active volunteers, having been involved in Bedford Minor Basketball, Bedford Days Organizing Committee, Bedford Minor Baseball, and several other smaller organizations. They were founding members of the Light Up Bedford Parade which is an annual Christmas parade for charity. Sandy was even nominated for HRM Volunteer of Year. Sandy is an avid but average golfer. He also likes to play guitar, mainly at parties, but has been told he is the worst singer in HRM. He accepts that but it doesn't stop him from trying anyway.
