Location: Voyageur Lakes Subdivision is located in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, just past Kingswood Subdivision about 5 kms from Bedford and 20 kms to Halifax.
Age of houses: Houses were built here from 2004 until present. There are new houses still available in the subdivision. Over a dozen QE11 "Dream Homes" have been built in the subdivision. Dream Homes are homes that were drawn for in a lottery to support the QE11 medical center,
Advantages: Two lakes border the subdivision so there will be lakefront properties available here. The subdivision is very conveniently located within an easy commute to Halifax and only 5 kms from Bedford.
Style of housing available: There are detached single family homes and attached condominium homes. Many of the houses have monthly condo fees for shared septics and road maintenance.
